VISIT US. FIND YOUR FIT.

If you think you know Houston Baptist University just from what you’ve heard, it’s time to see it for yourself.

Husky Preview Day, Saturday, Oct. 20, starting at 9 a.m., is packed with information, activities and events to give you a full introduction to our great University. Meet students, talk with HBU faculty, learn about financial aid, tour campus and residence halls and more. After you learn all about HBU, you can join us for special Homecoming events and tailgating, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Husky Preview is free—and specially designed for high school sophomores through seniors (and your families) and prospective transfer students.

Everything you need. Get to know HBU in one day—and stay on to celebrate Homecoming! Here’s a sample of what you can do:

  • Academics. Learn more in special interest sessions about academic majors you’re interested in—and talk with our faculty about outstanding HBU undergraduate programs in Business, Education, Engineering (new!), Fine Arts/Cinema, Nursing, Psychology and more.

  • Financial aid. Find out how we help make HBU affordable for you and your family. More than 90 percent of HBU students were awarded $24 million in scholarships and grants last year!

When I went to other schools, I didn’t feel I fit there. But when I came to HBU, I felt like I belonged here.” Jason, junior: “The second I stepped on campus, I felt at home. I knew I was supposed to be here.”
