Start Now to Prep for Fall

HBU PRE-REGISTRATION SESSIONS

You can jump start your Fall 2019 course schedule at HBU Pre-Registration & Advising Session I (May 4) or Session II (May 18).

As a new Husky, you (and your family) can take advantage of one of these special days set aside just for incoming Fall 2019 freshmen and transfers. You are welcome to register today to attend a Pre-Registration & Advising Session if you:

  • Have applied and been accepted to HBU

  • Will be entering HBU this fall as a new freshman or transfer

  • Already paid your enrollment deposit

HBU Pre-Registration & Advising Sessions are optional, but attending this event will give you first choice in selecting and registering for the fall classes you want. Freshmen who attend Pre-Registration are required to attend a Freshmen “GO” orientation in June. Transfers who attend Pre-Registration will not  be required to be at a Transfer “GO” session.

Your family is welcome to attend our special Family Track, which includes sessions for Family Orientation, Financial Aid and Tuition & Payments, along with time to visit the Resource Fair.

Reserve your spot today! Complete the RSVP form for Pre-Registration & Advising Session I (May 4) or Session II (May 18), and we’ll send you a copy of Your Next Steps, a checklist to prepare you to start at HBU this fall.

What you will do during Pre-Registration:

  • Start the day at 8 a.m. for check-in, and you’ll wrap up by 1 p.m.

  • Receive a comprehensive overview of what to expect for the day at an Opening Session. We will also review all the material you’ll be provided at check-in: schedule, academic expectations, advising pointers, dual-credit information and more.

  • Participate in an Advising Session to review your academic planning and course choices with an advisor so you’re ready for the Class Registration Session. Our advisors provide customized guidance to both new freshmen and transfer students.

  • Attend a Financial Aid Session to learn more about student financial aid awards, including a deep dive into your financial aid award letter and what it means. Our Tuition & Payments Session helps students and families understand tuition bills and how to schedule and make a payment.

  • Hear from HBU students in a session that’s focused on Your Academic Success. Get tips on how to be a successful student at HBU during an interactive presentation, and learn about more tools and resources available to HBU students.

  • Visit the Resource Fair where you and your family can explore on-campus and off-campus resources, ranging from academic support services and on-campus organizations to Wells Fargo banking services and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Get the answers and information you need to make a smooth transition to HBU.

Make sure you complete the RSVP form today to choose Session I (May 4) or Session II (May 18) so you can take full advantage of an HBU Pre-Registration & Advising Session—and be fully ready to start at HBU this fall.
